My name is Tim Ellis, and I am the founder of Crow’s Nest Interactive! We create and facilitate immersive murder mystery experiences for teams and private groups. Each game is custom-written, ensuring a personalized experience for every guest.

What sets your events apart?

Our events are not simply scripts, party kits, or performances that guests watch from the sidelines. Every participant becomes part of the story, receives meaningful information and helps shape how the mystery unfolds.

We also manage the full process. You and your team do not need to learn the game before playing, distribute clues, or keep the event on schedule.

What is included in a hosted event?

Every event includes pre-event planning, game selection, character assignments, guest instructions, clues, evidence, event materials, on-site setup, and complete facilitation.

We introduce the experience, explain how everything works, manage the timing and clues, assist guests throughout the game, and lead the final accusations and reveal.

Does someone from our team need to host?

No. We host and facilitate the entire experience from beginning to end.

You and your team can participate alongside everyone else without worrying about instructions, materials, timing, or spoilers.

How does the event work?

Before the event, each guest receives a character and simple preparation instructions. During the mystery, players interact in character, investigate evidence, share information and work to determine what happened.

We guide the group through each stage and make sure everyone understands what to do.

Do guests need acting experience?

Not at all! Guests can participate at whatever level feels comfortable.

Some players enjoy fully embracing their character, while others prefer to focus on investigating clues and solving the mystery. No memorization, costumes, or performance experience is required.

What if some guests are shy?

Our games are structured to give every participant a clear role and purpose. Guests always have information to share, clues to investigate and specific reasons to interact with others.

We also remain available throughout the event to support all kinds of players and keep conversations moving naturally.

How many people can participate?

Our standard packages support groups of up to 60 guests, with custom options available for larger events.

We recommend the game format based on the final group size.

How long does an event last?

Most events last approximately two to three hours.

The exact length depends on your group size, venue, chosen mystery and schedule. Extended formats are also available for events lasting longer.

Where can the event take place?

We can run the experience at offices, hotels, restaurants, conference spaces, private venues, and other suitable event locations.

The venue should provide enough space for guests to move around, speak in small groups and review clues comfortably.

Do you provide the venue, food or drinks?

Packages cover the murder mystery experience itself. Venue rental, catering and beverages are arranged separately by the client unless otherwise included in a custom quote.

Can the mystery be played during dinner?

Yes! Many mysteries can be structured around a meal, with gameplay divided into stages between courses.

We will review your venue and schedule in advance to recommend the best format.

Are costumes required?

Costumes are optional. Guests may dress for their character or theme, but regular work or event attire is completely acceptable.

Simple character details and preparation suggestions are provided before the event.

Can the event be customized?

We adapt the experience to your group size, venue, available time and preferred level of difficulty.

Additional customization, personalized story details, enhanced materials and extended formats may be available as part of a custom package.

Are your events appropriate for work functions?

Yes! Our hosted experiences are designed to be engaging, organized and accessible for workplace groups.

They encourage communication, collaboration and problem-solving without feeling like a traditional training exercise.

Is the content suitable for all groups?

Because these are murder mystery events, the stories naturally include fictional crime and related themes. The tone and content vary by game.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for holiday events.

Your date is secured once the booking requirements outlined in your proposal have been completed.

What information do you need to provide a quote?

What happens if our guest count changes?

Small adjustments can usually be accommodated before character assignments and materials are finalized.

Larger changes may affect the game format and final price, so please notify me as early as possible.
